There is a deep influence of Quranic influences, teachings and verses on his fictions. Quran is also presented in the fictions of Khadija Mastoor. Majeed's verses and teachings have a deep influence. His stories portray the modern era too. There are mentions of Quranic verses, teachings, hints, events and messengers of Allah in their stories. The fusion of Hindu Muslim culture in the fictions of Khadija Mastoor and Premchand also keeps the reader engrossed.
