Andranik Tsarukyan’s Biography in the Context of Poetry and Publicity

The study presents the biography of the Armenian writer of Diaspora Andranik Tsarukyan, which was examined in the context of the study of literary and cultural realities and facts related to the biography of the writer. The study includes psychological, ethical and socio-political aspects. Keys related to the development of the author’s literary and social activities are provided. There are also links to debates. In addition, Andranik Tsarukyan’s first visit to Yerevan was also reviewed. The latter summarized the analysis of the relations between Soviet Armenia and the Armenian writer of the Diaspora. Andranik Tsarukyan first visited Soviet Armenia in 1956. His impressions from frequent trips to Soviet Armenia were reflected in his books “Old Dreams, New Paths” (1958) and “New Armenia, New Armenians” (1983). In 1988, he was awarded the Ruben Sevak Prize for his novel “Love in Genocide”. He died on May 23, 1989 in Paris. Andranik Tsarukyan’s biography is also examined from a historical, political, social standpoints, completing the moral and psychological analysis of the author. While exploring Tsarukyan’s multifaceted literary activity, an attempt is also made to highlight the author’s personality features.
