LANGUAGING MONTENEGRO: THE CASE OF THE LOVĆEN NATIONAL PARK

This paper explores languaging in Montenegro and, in particular, in the Lovćen National Park in the west of the country. In the first section, I explain what languaging means and I will highlight the potential behind the study of languaging. In the second section, I will show which particularities can emerge in the study of languaging in Montenegro. In this context, the linguistic situation of the country is also presented, before the third section analyses how languaging takes place in the Lovćen National Park. It is shown which combinations of languages and writing systems are possible on-site, which goals are pursued with them, and which semiotic peculiarities are associated with them.
