Top hat and accessories, by Lincoln Bennett & Co., London, 1931. Black hat possibly made of felted wool, lined with cream silk satin. It has a black woollen hat band and is trimmed with black silk grosgrain. There is a brown leather band on the inside and the silk lining is stamped with ''Ben-Lid' regd, Lincoln Bennett'. The initials of the wearer, H.E.C are embossed in gold on the inside. Brush for cleaning hat with curved wooden handle and hair bristles. Rectangular cleaning pad covered in gold velvet. Tall oblong box made of cardboard covered in black imitation leather. The lid has a slot for the black leather handle. The crest of Lincoln Bennett is stamped in gold on the outside and the wearer's initials, H.E.C. are embossed in gold underneath. Black felted wool (possibly) trimmed with grosgrain and lined with silk satin. Wood and bristles. Velvet. Cardboard and leather.
