Continuous deterioration of the global and regional security environment and security situation in the 21st century under the influence of several events (e.g., military and civil conflicts, terrorist attacks in many countries and cities of the world, increase in cross-border organized crime, cyber and other sophisticated forms of crime, illegal migration, etc.) has caused security to be an increasingly large and expanding area of economic activity. As a result of the more intense perception of growing physical and cyber threats, the non-solution or insufficient solution of several pressing problems and the increasingly free movement of goods, capital and people, there has been an increase in public and private spending on security goods and services in recent years. For this reason, the goal of the author of the paper, using relevant methods of scientific research, is to point out the economic implications of ensuring safety
