Ferdi & scaron; Kostka (1878-1951) depicts the everyday culture of the western Slovak region Z & aacute; horie in his figurative ceramics. His works aroused the interest of the nationally minded elite in this kind of folk art and thus reached world exhibitions. At the time of the formation of these two figures, his workshop was world-famous. The artist created stereotypical images of a Slovak folk culture with his painted gestures and figures and was a model for future ceramics.
