Kriteria Sukses Dalam Al-Qur’an (Kajian Tematik)

One of the biggest dreams in every human life is success, because success is a reference for assessing one another's perspective. Everyone has their own views on the definition of success. Some consider people to be successful if they have a lot of wealth, but not others. Some make popularity as a reference for success and so on. However, as Muslim people who stick to the Qur'an, they should not only make a measure of success while living in the world, but also prepare and fight for life in the Hereafter in order to become a human being who always lives in success both while still living on earth and later in the Hereafter. A person's journey to success is not the same as a short process and he has achieved what he aspires to. And there are also those who have to go through a long process, starting from a failed experiment and then getting up and stepping back so that it only ushers in the success he wants to achieve. However, if done with persistence, strong desire and sacrifice then Allah Almighty. will bring a much better life as well. Although the achievement of success is very subjective, but not infrequently for humans, especially Muslims, do not know the nature of success contained in the Qur'an. Is success only motivated by the achievement of desires, happiness and comfort in life? Or the equanimity felt while living life? Or is there even the meaning of success itself contained in the Qur'an? This research wants to answer about the meaning of success contained in the Qur'an. What does the word success mean in the Qur'an? And what are the criteria for success according to the Qur'an? This research is a type of library research (Library Research), which is a research technique that focuses on literature and books - open reading by examining the content of what has been read. The data analysis technique used is a descriptive analysis technique, which is to systematically describe the facts or characteristics of certain populations or fields factually and carefully and conceptually examine the existing data and then classified according to the problem in question to obtain clarity. In this study the author found three successful terms in the Qur'an, namely al-Falah, an-Najah and al-Fauz. Although linguistically it has the same meaning, namely luck or success, each word has a different use. The word al-Falah describes the meaning of the luck of the world as well as the hereafter, The word an-Najah describes the meaning of world luck alone and the word al-Fauz describes the meaning of luck later in the afterlife. Success verses in the Qur'an are very diverse and varied, from the research that has been done, the author found an explanation of the criteria for successful people. These criteria generally state that people who want to succeed in this world and the Hereafter must have the criteria mentioned in the Qur'an including believing and devotion to Allah swt., performing prayers five times, praying to Allah swt. Be active in working, set aside some sustenance for people in need, faith and piety, pray to Allah swt., get mercy so that they go to heaven.
