Bulletin boards at Nihonbashi

Hiroshigehitsu HiHiseries with famous views of Tokyo. Andō Tokubei was a student of Hiroshige I and took the name Hiroshige after marrying the daughter of Hiroshige I around 1865. Before that, Hiroshige II divorced her. Andō Tokubei is now known as Hiroshige III. Here is the center of Tokyos around Nihonbashi (文 Hier Japan-Brücke). A bridge pillar can be seen on the right. Behind the stone warehouses along the Nihonbashi river. In the distance between the trees, the castle of Edo Public announcements were made on boards and placed in busy and central places/squares such as Nihonbashi. Such panels were also located along the Tōkaidō Solche Solche Solche Solche street. The procession in the foreground with a flag bearer (imperial coat of arms: 16-leaf chrysanthemum), drummers and officials is part of the procession of tennō in Edo. Flying cranes (tsuru).
