Profile of patients served by a center specialized in rehabilitation in the state of Espírito Santo

Objective: to verify the sociodemographic and clinical profile of patients treated by physiotherapy in a Specialized Rehabilitation Center in the metropolitan region of the state of Espírito Santo. Methods: this is a cross-sectional observational study, which had a sample of 1000 medical records referring to physiotherapy services in 2018, at the Specialized Center for Rehabilitation of the State of Espírito Santo, SCR II CREFES. For statistical analysis, descriptive data analysis was performed. Results: among the records analyzed, it was found that 51.2% are male, with an average age of 50 years, 20.6% are of mixed ethnicity, 40.8% are married, 54.6% live in Vila Velha, 36 1% have only primary education with an average income of 1827.9 reais, 83.1% have an orthopedic injury, 90.6% have a clinical diagnosis and 70.2% a physiotherapeutic diagnosis. Conclusion: the profile of patients treated at SCR II CREFES in Vila Velha - ES, was mainly characterized by males, with an average age of 50 years, mixed race, with primary education, from the municipality of Vila Velha, with an average income of 1827 .90 reais, and the injury predominantly found was orthopedic, and had a clinical and physiotherapeutic diagnosis.
