Matthew Brandt: Silver
View through Artsy
Matthew Brandt’s (American, b. 1982) practice is driven by an experimental approach to photographic processes, trialing innovations on traditional vintage darkroom techniques. In doing so, he integrates new and unexpected materials into the fabric of his work. Brandt’s diverse practice spans a variety of media, and his different series are all connected by a union of subject and medium as he moves to incorporate substances derived from the very subjects his images depict.
