APPLICATION OF SYSTEMS USING TELEMETRY IN AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY

This article discusses the application of systems using telemetry in agricultural machinery. The introduction of telemetry systems such as John Deere's JDLink makes it possible to significantly improve the efficiency of management and monitoring of agricultural machinery. The focus is on telemetry functions, including machine health monitoring, diagnostics, task management, performance analysis, and resource optimization. The article analyzes the advantages of using telemetry, such as reducing operating costs, increasing productivity, improving safety and reliability of equipment operation. The challenges associated with the introduction of telemetry systems, including dependence on the quality of communication and the need to ensure data security, are also considered. Based on an overview of current technologies and practices, the article demonstrates how telemetry contributes to the development of precision farming and process automation, as well as improves resource management and reduces risks.
