The article is a review on lectures held by scientists from Armenia at Leningrad Conservatory. Doctor of Art Studies N. Tagmizian held a series of lectures on history, aesthetics, theory of Armenian medieval music for students, postgraduate students, teachers of the Conservatory. Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Music Theory of Yerevan Komitas Conservatory, PhD in Art, S. Sargsyan introduced Leningrad residents to the creative achievements of the modern Armenian composer school.
