Mengungkapkan Gaya Arsitektur Kori Agung di Puri Kaba-Kaba

Kori Agung is the main gate that serves as a connector between sacred areas within a puri (Balinese palace) complex. In Puri Kaba-Kaba, there are three Kori Agung located in the Nista Mandala, Madya Mandala, and Utama Mandala zones. Each of the Kori Agung in Puri Kaba-Kaba displays unique architectural characteristics in terms of form, materials, and ornamental elements used. Based on this, the aim of this research is to provide a detailed description of the architectural style of the three Kori Agung at Puri Kaba-Kaba, located in Kaba-Kaba Village, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency. This study employs a qualitative method supported by architectural theory, which emphasizes three key concepts in architectural design: strength (firmitas), utility (utilitas), and beauty (venustas). The analysis results present an in-depth description of the three Kori Agung at Puri Kaba-Kaba, including their form, materials, and decorative features. Furthermore, this research reveals a connection between Balinese architectural style and the influence of Majapahit architecture, as reflected in the design of the three Kori Agung of Puri Kaba-Kaba. Through this study, it is expected to contribute to preservation and revitalization efforts carried out by relevant stakeholders.
