Björn Borg (1956-) is a Swedish former professional tennis player, regarded as one of the world’s foremost in sport of all time. Borg won eleven singles titles in Grand Slam tournaments in 1974-1981, five of them straight in the Wimbledon Championships and six in the French Open. During his active career, Borg won a total of 63 singles and 4 doubles titles. Borg was admitted in 1987 to the International Tennis Hall of Fame and in 2003 to the Swedish Tennis Hall of Fame.
