An almost identy pattern with a woman’s kimono from the AI 7719-1-30. In the fan blade cartouche, a woman who wraps herself firmly in a kimono. The name of the woman is Karaginu (?). Comparison of KI 7719-1-33 - Mitsuuji in the shell half the same robe as here and the woman in the fan cartouche has taken a similar attitude as in the large picture. The name Mitsuuji (hero of the Genji parody) is composed of the characters for “Hikaru (Gen) ji” (Luminator Genji), a name given to Genji due to its radiant grace in Murasaki’s novel.
