Experiences about no-reflow in percutaneous transluminal coronary intervention of acute coronary syndrome

Aim
To analyse the causes and treatments of no-reflow in percutaneous transluminal coronary intervention of acute coronary syndrome patients.
Methods
Reviewed 68 patients of acute coronary syndrome who undergo percutaneous transluminal coronary intervention during June 2008 to July 2010 in our hospital. The possible reasons, the treatment outcome of immediately or discharged time were observed.
Results
In all 68 patients, no-reflow was occurred in six cases. One case was dead of carcinogenic shock at the time of 24 h post therapy,. The symptoms as chest distress and chest pain were improved and coronary flow was improved from TIMI 1 flow to TIMI 3 flow after nitroglycerin, verapamil and tirofiban Intracoronary injection alone or in combination. And there was no cardiovascular events occurred until discharged time in those five cases.
Conclusion
In percutaneous transluminal coronary intervention, no-reflow phenomenon increased risk of operation and mortality. Enhance the knowledge of no-reflow and coped with it timely in right way should improved coronary flow and prognosis of patients.
