Napoleon I, 1769-1821, Emperor of France. Oval miniature, watercolour and gouache on ivory.

Midejebild, phase right. Barhuvad in green uniform with red collar and gold tablets. The Shoulder Band of the Legion and the Crash. Rectangular frame and oval strip of gilded bronze and passepartout of black glass. The width of the frame list 8 mm. Thick cardboard with pasted historical chronology in Swedish (possibly 1700- century end). The back covered with grey paper, written: “Gåfva af Kejsar Napoleon to H. Ex. Count Magnus Fredrik Brahe 1811.” Associated patch: This beacon Emperor Napoleon has sucked on a dosa, the omgifva af Brillianter, the hat was predated by the Emperor to Hans Excellence Grefve Magnus Eriksson Brahe, then Han, as Ambassadeur Extraordinair, was sent from 1811 to Paris to take Kon: Carl XIII. On behalf of the Happy Emperor to the Birth of King of Rome. Portrait is dedicated to Skogklosters collection af Enke Fru The Countwoman Aurora Brahe in 1843.
