Iconography
The headpiece is low-cut and in the form of a half-crown. The face is painted in lemon yellow. Lemon yellow is also the base colour of the half-crown, which is studded with glass pieces to cover the gaps. The half-crown is sculpted in the round.
Comments on the Umlauff Catalogue
The identification of the character as ¿Kumarea Devi (Prinzessin)¿ is confusing. Devi means queen, not princess.
