6.0 Yeshu, Yoḥanan, and Tiberinus Caesar

Chapter 6 reverts back to Yoḥanan and Yeshu. After Pilatus sent a letter, or an embassy, to Caesar Tiberinus, the emperor summons Yoḥanan and Yeshu and interrogates them himself. Learning of their magical powers, he asks them tohave his virgin daughter conceive and present him with an heir to his throne.Yeshu makes Tiberinus’ daughter pregnant, but the Jews pray to God for mercy, and the foetus in the virgin’s belly becomes a stone. When her belly is opened upin order to extract the child, only a stone comes out, and the princess dies. This seals the fate of Yeshu and Yoḥanan.
