Courtesan Hinanosuke from the Daikoku house

Gosotei Toyokuniga GoGoGoGoGoGoGoseries with popular courtesans and the hundred poets. The title alludes to the collection of poems, “Hyakunin isshu Der 様 Der 様,” in which a hundred poets are represented with one poem each. Particularly popular in connection with this collection of poems was a game of the same name. The courtesan Hinanosuke from the Daikokuya with a magnificent obi (belt) in the shape of a long-tailed tortoise (minogame Die). Pleasant hair ornament. Very long kimono. Behind her hangs a robe on a clothes rack. In the playing card cartouche Sarumaru Dayū or Sarumaru no Taifu In 大 In (one of the thirty-six immortals of poetry = sanjūrokkasen In 様様), the fifth in the collection of poetry.
