This paper is motivated by the current high interest in orchid enthusiasts, but the process of propagation is quite long. For orchid seeds that are good are seeds that have reached 1 year and have many roots. The seeds can be planted in plastic for 3 months. After 3 months it can be moved into small pots. After 3 months, orchids can be transferred to larger pots. Behind the long process of breeding, orchid prices are quite high which makes ornamental plant farmers produce these plants. This paper aims to describe the use of tissue culture methods in orchid cultivation that can be applied at home. The making of this paper uses qualitative methods by carrying out book literacy. The use of tissue culture in orchid cultivation can increase the amount of production shorter. And households can apply orchid cultivation with tissue culture. That way households can reduce purchases of orchid plants, even households are able to produce their own orchid plants that can be sold for profit.
