Featured Artist Mary Freericks - Abstract Art 2021 Exhibition

After the pleasure of learning the skill of painting flowers in watercolors from Rose Margaret Braden I began capturing the beauty of Santa Barbara beaches and mountains at outdoor classes. After a gift of oil paints I took teacher Tomas Van Stein 's class who advised I try abstracts. He loved the abstracts I did in class and suggested a show to display them. I find abstracts tricky and more exciting since a successful one can be shown in any direction. I even wire some in two directions.
