Conjuntamente la Directiva de la Sociedad Colombiana de Obstetricia y Ginecología y el cuerpo docente del Departamento de Obstetricia y Ginecología de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad Nacional, me han hecho el encargo de ser su vocero en este acto conmemorativo del natalicio centenario del Profesor Rafael Ucrós Durán, y he aceptado con gusto la difícil encomienda, por tratarse de algo para mí espiritualmente significativo: recordar con gratitud a quienes en otrora contribuyeron a trillar el camino que hoy transitamos.
