INTERTEXTUALITÁS DUBRAVKA UGREŠIĆ ŠTEFICA CVEK AZ ÉLET SŰRŰJÉBEN CÍMŰ REGÉNYÉBEN

A legnépszerűbb és legelterjedtebb kommersz irodalmi műfajok közé tartoznak a romantikus szerelmes regények, melyek olvasói számára mindig megbízhatóan ugyanazt a sematikus élményt nyújtják: szerelmi történet egy hétköznapi lány és a „hercege” között; történetük a „sors” kegyetlensége ellenére is happy enddel végződik. Dubravka Ugrešić 1981-ben megjelent Štefica Cvek u raljama života (Štefica Cvek az élet sűrűjében) című patchwork regénye a megjelenés idején a műfaj teljesen új feldolgozása volt, ma már klasszikus alkotásként tartják számon. A mű a triviális, a naiv és a dilettáns történetmesélés módozataival szembesít. Az írónő a posztmodern irodalomra jellemző intertextualitás eszközeit használva a mesei elemek és az életből vett közhelyes példák segítségével emeli ki a populáris irodalom és az ún. magas szépirodalom közötti diszkrepanciákat. A tanulmányban ezeket a szövegközti elemeket, illetve mesei jellemzőket emelem ki és próbálom feltárni felhasználásuk okát és konklúzióját Ugrešić regényében.
