Batik pattern: Kawung kemplung

This batiked pattern is similar to pattern 847-85. Here, however, the white leaves are larger and are round rather than elliptical. The white leaves are filled with two brown St. Andrew's crosses. The white leaves are separated by brown diamonds filled with a blue flower. The pattern has a white background. The border consists of white stars on a blue ground in triangles formed by brown lines. The name of this pattern is Kawung kemplung.
