Home and Nature in the Poetry of Johannes Kühn

Der Lyriker Johannes Kühn, der in den 1980er-Jahren international bekannt wurde und mehr als 20 Gedichtbände veröffentlichte, gilt als renommiertester Dichter des Saarlandes. Der Beitrag präsentiert die Analyse von vier ausgewählten Gedichten des Lyrikers, die sich hauptsächlich auf zwei in Kühns Lyrik eng miteinander verwobene Themenbereiche konzentriert: Heimat und Natur. Als theoretische Grundlage der Gedichtanalysen dient dabei das Heimatkonzept des Kulturwissenschaftlers Hermann Bausinger. Gleichzeitig wird die These aufgestellt und belegt, dass Kühns Lyrik in der klassisch-romantischen Tradition steht, wobei sich insbesondere Parallelen zur Romantik erkennen lassen.
