Printed designs (2) for an embroidered bags, about 1725, by Margaretha Helm (1659-1742). Printed designs (2) for embroidery for bags. The design on the left hand side shows a repeated floral motif. The design on the right hand side features stylised flowing leaves and flowers from a central floral point. Both designs are an elliptical shape with the top narrower than the bottom. They both have heavily etched decorative elements.  Engraving and etching on laid paper.
