Bir Stratejist Olarak Emir Timur

Prophets, religions, nations, states, leaders, scholars, ideologies have determined, influenced and changed the history of humanity. Political developments such as migration, war, invasion, occupation, occupation, genocide, revolution, revolution based on reasons such as climate, drought, hunger and epidemic disease are events that change the course of history. The concept of strategy, which entered the literature of social sciences in the twentieth century, has been included in management sciences and is defined as containing the plans, projects, programmes, goals and objectives of individuals or institutions on a subject. States and leaders that influence the world, geography and history have strategies. A strategy primarily requires a fundamental, strong intention, will and reasoning. When Amir Timur’s life and actions are analysed, it is seen that he had a conscious, prepared, effective strategy at every stage, implemented it, and focused on achieving his goals and objectives in this respect. Timur was not only an exceptional genius and strategist who distinguished himself in wars, but also a leader with a vision of society, state and civilisation. He is a strategist who emphasised knowledge, wisdom, consultation, observation and experience, established advanced cities and structures extending over centuries, developed and implemented strategies. He brought out a dynamic society from Mawaraunnahr, which was darkened by the Mongol invasion and hegemony, where there were internal rivalries, struggle, confusion and chaos, established a strong state, and became the founder and agent of a civilisation that spread to the Indian subcontinent. In this study, Amir Timur’s strategy, theory and practice, strategic features and actions will be analysed, and an evaluation will be made.
