Avicena y Anselmo de Canterbury. En torno al argumento ontológico.

Las similitudes entre el argumento ontológico de Anselmo de Canterbury y los argumentos empleados por Avicenna para la demostración de la existencia de Dios se pusieron de relieve en la primera mitad del siglo XX. Nos detenemos en un análisis de dos capítulos de la tercera parte (Metafísica) del al-Ishārāt wal-Tanbīhāt (Orientaciones y advertencias) de Avicena y en los capítulos II-IV del Proslogion de Anselmo, aportando una nueva interpretación sobre sus afinidades.The similarities between the ontological argument of Anselm of Canterbury and the arguments that Avicenna used in his demonstration for the existence of God have been highlighted since the first half of the 20th century. We focus on two chapters of the third part (Metaphysics) of Avicenna’s al-Ishārāt wal-Tanbīhāt (Remarks and Admonitions) and chapters II-IV of Anselm’s Proslogion, providing a new interpretation of their affinities.
