Group of Female Musicians and Dancers

A group of nine female dancers and musicians perform beneath a red canopy, decorated with gold leaves. Two dancers lead the group. The musical instruments include a manjira, a type of clash cymbal, or a mrdangam, a type of drum. All of the figures wear red and gold dresses and elaborate jewelry, consisting of long necklaces, nose rings, earrings, and head ornaments.
