Enrico Damiani worked for 35 years in the Library of the Chamber of Deputies. In 1915, he won the competition for secretary, a position that in the bureaucratic language of the time corresponded to the role of civil servant. The author of the chapter reconstructs Damiani's work at the Library of the Chamber of Deputies during the Fascist era, publishing some letters in the appendix.
