FACIAL REJUVENATION AND SURGICAL METHODS OF COMPLEX AESTHETIC RECONSTRUCTION

View through CrossRef
Abstract. Introduction. Over time, each person goes through the phenomenon of complex transformations that deprive him of his youth. Facial rejuvenation is focused on various non-invasive and invasive procedures. To remove traces of fatigue, to make the oval of the face expressive, to reduce and remove fine wrinkles, there are many, but they cannot always achieve the desired result of rejuvenation.  which includes reconstructive and cosmetic surgery techniques in addition to biomaterials, lasers, and other auxiliary materials to improve rejuvenation outcomes. Purpose. To analyze the scientific literature on the problems of facial rejuvenation, to investigate surgical methods of complex aesthetic reconstruction. Materials and methods. To achieve this goal, theoretical research methods were used, namely: analysis, generalization and systematization of domestic and foreign scientific literature on the problem of complex aesthetic reconstruction of the face. Results and discussion. The aging process is diverse and complex, and numerous anatomical and biological factors lead to age-related changes. Individual organ systems age differently, diseases approach with age, physical activity decreases, and chronic fatigue increases. To solve the problem of aging, most men andwomen turn to plastic surgeons. According to official data from the American Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, more than 10 million plastic aesthetic surgeries were performed worldwide in 2019. Conclusions. Facial plastic surgery is a broad branch of cosmetology that includes aesthetic facial reconstruction techniques in addition to other assistive techniques and techniques to improve rejuvenation outcomes. In conclusion, we can affirm that comprehensive aesthetic facial reconstruction is an important field that can improve the lives of patients both in individual life and in society.  According to the author, the topic is relevant and deserves further study of the problem of complex aesthetic reconstruction of the face and implementation in the practical activities of a plastic surgeon.
