Small Cîinenii - LoviCCountry - 1989, jud. The Veil (1989)

The photograph is part of the Research Referendum No. 665, with the theme “Complex ethnographic excavations on the locality of Camineni (Vâlcea county), in the context of the hydropower developments on the Olt river,” ch. III “Study on the type, size and appearance of the settlement,” author Raluca Smarandache. In the image of the village of Caminenii Mici on the east bank of Olt, the river is located here in the first sector of the gorge that it digs in the mountains (Turnu În În - Cozia Gorge), Turnu Rosu - Camineni sector. Also the village of Caminenii small is located at the foot of the extensions of the Făgăraș Mountains and is surrounded by the heights of the hills of Gorgane, Săjina, Pleasa, Lostun, Chicăura, Sasul Hill, AvenDe, SecDe. The village of Little Doge is composed of the part called “Sub Coaste” and the part called “Over Vale.” The two areas communicating through a bridge over the Village Valley. The settlement develops into an elongated and tentacular form with three arms. In the structure of the settlement the households are crowded along the road, with the main oaks leaving radially from the center of the village.
