Eksistensi Kesenian Sandur Ronggo Budoyo dalam Pandangan Remaja Milenial di Kabupaten Tuban

Abstract. The performance art of sandur is one of the traditional arts that outlast in Tuban, East Java as an area with majority of it is people have a socio-cultural background of agrarian life. Initially, the performance art was aimed for farmers who are tired of working all day in the fields, so the background of the story also illustrates Indonesian agricultural circumstances. As times goes by, younger generations are lulled by various arts that are oriented to the western world so that the indigenous arts are goes extinct. The aimed of this article is to know the existence of Sandur Ronggo Budoyo performance art in teenagers of Tuban Regency. Research method used was descriptive quantitative method with questionnaires that were given to a number of teenagers in Tuban. The results of this study indicate that many teenagers in Tuban have lack of knowledge or even do not know about Sandur Ronggo Budoyo performance art. Therefore, we hope that the government and related parties can intensively introducing various Tubanese indigenous arts, particularly Sandur Ronggo Budoyo to the teenagers.
