This polychrome vase was excavated by the Belgian expedition. It was found in a cist in Kalleh Nisar (Luristan), dating to the first half of the third millennium. It was in use until the first half of the second millennium. The polychrome ware is a local variation of the so-called scarlet ware of the Diyala region (Mesopotamia).
