Sitter information: Lord Berkeley Paget. Possibly the eldest son of the Honorable Thomas Berkeley Paget (1780-1842) sixth son of the 1st Earl of Uxbridge. Alfred de Rothschild. Alfred Charles de Rothschild (20 July 1842-31 January 1918). Colonel Marshall Lord Dunmore. Charles Adolphus Murray (24 March 1841-27 August 1907), 7th Earl of Dunmore DL. Succeeded 15 July 1845, a Lord in Wating to queen Victoria 1874-80. Married Gertrude (d. 28 November 1943) third daughter of the 2nd Earl of Leicester. Lord Sudeley. Viscount Sudeley, Arthur William Charles Fox Gore (6 January 1839-14 March 1901), 5th Earl of Arran. Succeeded as Earl of Arran 25 June 1884. First married to Edith (d. 3 October 1871) younger daughter of Robert Viscount Jocelyn, 21 February 1865. Second marriage to Winifred Ellen (d. 12 November 1920), widow of the honorable John Stoppard and daughter of John Reilly. The photographs of Berkeley Paget and Alfred de Rothschild are outlined in graphite to possibly indicate where a frame or border was to be painted.
