MORAL SENSE IN RUSSIAN RELIGIOUS PHILOSOPHY AND THE THEOANTHROPOLOGICAL MODEL OF PERSON

The purpose of this article is to study moral feeling within the framework of the theoanthropological model of person in Russian religious philosophy. The author concludes that the essence of moral feeling depends on the chosen ontology – theistic or panentheistic. The theistic version of ontology was presented by spiritual and academic theism and the Yuriev School of Philosophy. The panentheistic version is represented by the Russian religious philosophy of unity. The Slavophile doctrine of person was not considered. It is argued that in case of choosing a
theistic ontology, moral feeling has a personal character, and in case of a panentheistic one, it has a social character. It is personal in the sense that everyone has their own moral sense, but moral
feelings of all people are identical. It is social because values have a supra-personal character and are the same for everyone within the framework of the Divine-Human unity.
