Irish romance II (Irish in a pension) - Picture 1

Irča persuades her parents to accompany her on a last meeting with Lexa before she enters the convent school. The next day Lexa arrives at the station to see her off and Irča gives him her nightdress with which she has wiped her tears. Her arrival at the convent is sorrowful but she soon makes the acquaintance of the other girls and manages to settle down. Her friend Věra receives a letter from Lexa and she vainly tries to explain that she is Lexa's cousin. Irča finally believes her when Lexa arrives with Věra's boyfriend Vláďa. Pressed by her friends, Irča persuades Lexa to come next time not only with Vláďa but also with boys for Handa and Karla. When the visit takes place, the bishop visits unexpectedly the convent and catches all four girls meeting the boys in secret. Irča has to leave the convent and she returns to Prague. She continues her studies at the high school and her secret meetings with her beloved Lexa. (Brief content of the film)
