Hand-made vase with a handle, made of Italian glass by Empoli. Double-layer glass, opaque, dark red on the outside, white inside. Transparent handle. A fancy shape of a vase, quite narrow at the top, widening at the bottom. It slightly resembles a female figure in a wide skirt. Empoli, a city in Tuscany has a history of glass production as long as Murano's, dating back to the 13th century. There are two types of Empoli glass: "Verde" (the green color obtained from local sand) and "Cased". Cased has the appearance of clear glass.Height 17 cm Circumference at its widest point 41 cm I nfusion width of 5 cm
