Vase in the shape of a calla flower

Hand-made yellow and cobalt vase. Opaque cobalt glass at the bottom, turning yellow at the top, has tabs along the entire length of the vase. The inlet is intensely yellow on the inside and expands into the shape of a calla flower. The bottom of the vase is not polished, which indicates its Italian origin. Height 19 cm Width of the inlet (calla flower) is 11 cmEmpoli, a city in Tuscany has a history of glass production as long as Murano's, dating back to the 13th century. There are two types of Empoli glass: "Verde" (the green color obtained from local sand) and "Cased". Cased has the appearance of clear glass.
