A Story of Narrativity in Ulysses

View through CrossRef
Abstract This chapter aims to tell a story, namely the story of narrativity discerned in Joyce's novel Ulysses. The ‘story of narrativity’ means the story of the way in which a narrative unfolds along its syntagmatic course, the story of the causal moves which determine that unfolding at every point. This story will of course incorporate the represented story in some fashion or other.
