Greeted by huge crowds, the King unveiled Windsors Memorial to his father King George V._x000D_
The King was accompanied by the Queen and other members of the Royal family. The feature of the Memorial, the gift of Windsor and district and the people of Windsor, Ontario, is a stone cenotaph designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. After releasing the union Jack which drove the cenotaph the King made his first speech in public since his ascension._x000D_
