Plaster head of a woman
View through Europeana Collections
The portrait head shows the face of a woman whose nose and mouth are severely damaged. In the upper lids of the eyes, as in many plasterboards, an additional line, an eye furrow, was pointed. On the forehead and the wig approach a clear casting seam emerges.
