Investigation of the Responses of ‘Fakers’ and ‘Non-Fakers’ on the Gudjonsson Suggestibility Scale (GSS)
View through CrossRef
This paper looks at the quantitative and qualitative responses of ‘fakers’ and ‘non-fakers’ on the Gudjonsson Suggestibility Scale (GSS). It was hypothesized that ‘fakers’ would show: (a) less consistency between different parts of the scale than ‘non-fakers’ and (b) more confabulation. The hypotheses were confirmed: memory was' found to be easier to fake than suggestibility.

How do omission and commission errors of trait memory distrust relate to immediate and delayed suggestibility as measured by the Gudjonsson Suggestibility Scale?
The main purpose of the current study was to test the hypothesis that immediate and delayed suggestibility, measured by the Gudjonsson Suggestibility Scale (GSS 2), are more strong...
