Tafsir Dan Analisis Mimpi Nabi Yusuf

The prophet Yusuf which focuses on a dream he saw ini his childhood. This story is contained ini QS Yu>suf verse 4 where in this verse the prophet Yusuf tells his dream in detail to his father, thus causing his brothers to be jealous. The dream seen by the prophet Yusuf later became a reality and was mentioned in the QS Yusuf verse 100. The purpose of this research is to find out what the meaning of the dream of the prophet Yusuf which is called ru’yah shalihan and what kind of life the prophet Yusuf went through until this dream actually happened. This type of research is library research of literature, namely by referring to tafsir book, book, journals and research that are relevant to the story of the prophet Yusuf. The research method that the author uses is the tahlili method, namely by presenting information related to surah Yusuf by explaining the asbab an-nuzul and its munasabah. The results of the research show that the dream of the prophet Yusuf seeing eleven stars and the moon and sun bowing down to him is a sign of prophethood. The eleven stars in his dream were interpreted as the prophet Yusuf’s eleven brothers. The sun and moon were his father and mother. This dream finally came true when the prophet Ya’qub, his mother and eleven brothers visited him in Egypt while prostrating before him.
