REKONSTRUKSI KISAH RATU BALQIS DALAM PERSPEKTIF TAFSIR MAQASHIDI

This article describes the new reading of the story of Queen Balqis from the perspective of the maqashidi interpretation. This reading is intended to provide a breath of fresh air for the understanding of the stories in the Koran which are often only read as limited as the storyline. Maqashidi interpretation aims to read the verse to the maqashid contained in it. Maqashidi Abdul Mustaqim's interpretation uses three steps in his understanding. These three analyzes consist of language analysis, analysis related to the verses discussed both asbaab an nuzul, munasabah and others. Finally, maslahah analysis is the formulation of the maqashid of a verse. The story of Ratu Balqis which tells of a Queen who has the ability to lead a country. In the story of Ratu Balqis, it actually does not stand alone because there is a figure of Prophet Solomon where he also shows the figure of a king who has the ability to lead a country. The purpose of the story of Ratu Balqis and Prophet Sulaiman is the ability of men and women to lead in the public space with the capability and ability to lead.Keywords: Maqshidi Tafsir, Ratu Balqis, Maqashid, Women
