La «extraña doctrina» de Locke y la génesis del iusnaturalismo utópico de Robert Nozick

This article examines Nozick’s reception of Locke’s doctrine of punishment. Locke’s doctrine allows Nozick to disable several arguments that favor the social contract and treat natural rights as a selfsufficient normative system. By doing so, Nozick formulates a natural law theory that can be described as “utopian” as it would allow, at the same time, the legitimization of coercion and the preservation of natural freedom.
