Cream cup with lid

Slightly bushy cup with flack-tight henkel with swung bottom and at the upper bracket a leafy protrusion. Coupled lid with bud in the shape of an apple on the stalk with two leaves. Overglaze painting on relief and in colours and gold. The factory was founded with privilege in 1775 by a public limited company with Franz Heinrich Müller as a technical leader. The founding of the company had been preceded by experiments carried out since 1752 under the leadership of various persons, the most famous being the Frenchman Louis Fournier. The factory was transferred in 1779 to King Christian VII after which it was called Den Kongelige Porcelainsfabrik. Price: 45 Kr. See Toiletbok. Paid 29 Nov 1899.
