Crouching Satyr

Almost complete figurine, missing portions of feet and left knee. Cracked, with heavy accretions at the back.
Crouching satyr, or perhaps, Silenus. Round, bald head with large, rounded ears that stick out to the sides. Heavy, furrowed brows above bulging, almond-shaped eyes. Large, round nose, full cheeks, slightly downturned mouth, and a rounded, well-kept beard. Narrow torso that still gives the impression of being pudgy. Thin arms are folded over the belly, and rest just above (and likely point down to) an erect phallus and scrotum. The legs are bent in a crouching position.
Would have been brightly painted. Light traces of white ground. Bright pink pigment extant, mostly at front, but also at back.
Solid. Mold-made in a deep, single-sided mold. Plain back.
Clay is pinkish brown and finely levigated.
