The catalog of the plant collection fund contains a list of 4,437 species, subspecies, and cultivars of plants growing wild or cultivated in the Botanical Garden of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice (Slovakia). Among them, 659 species protected under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) are cultivated in the botanical garden, and 42 autochthonous species are protected by the legislation of the Slovak Republic.
